Noah's Ark Programs

Children are grouped in one of four groups according to their age.  All ages gather together for special activities and special times of the day.  All children spend time outside, weather permitting.

4 weeks - 2 years

Children in this group are able to follow their own sleeping and eating schedule.  Teachers will work the parents to coordinate their schedule with home.  Every three months an intake form is filled out to keep updated with any changes in the children's routine.

2 years - 3 years

Children follow a daily routine including circle time, art, and story time.  Teachers concentrate on shapes, colors, numbers and the alphabet.  The children have a rest period in the afternoon.  Teachers will help the parents work with the children on potty training.

3 years - 5 years

Children this age also follow a daily schedule with circle time, art, and story time.  Children work on learning their names and writing it, as well as continuing to work with concepts such as numbers and the alphabet.  Children will have a rest period in the afternoon until they turn 5 years old.

5 years - 12 years

Children have more choices in the activities that they can choose to participate in.  They have a less structured schedule.  Art, books, and many board games are available for these children.
